thanksgiving

On Thanksgiving I went to my grandma's house in East Texas. I usually take a lot of pictures wherever I go, but this Thursday I only took a few. My grandma lives alone, and does her best to keep up with the ever changing technologies (she just bought a new computer).

Here we have a planter with plastic silverware in it, covered with a shower cap. How thoughtful. Nobody likes to eat with wet silverware.

And this is a picture of my grandmother's refrigerator. Notice the post-it. I should have gotten a better picture with all the magnets in it.

You can never be too careful. When something isn't working, hit control, alt, delete. With the appropriate fingers, of course. But I still don't know why it says sodium chloride on it though.
I tried to get a picture of Grandmother, but she wouldn't let me because "she looked terrible." She wore a floral button-up apron the whole day, she was so cute, but alas, no picture.

That was my Thanksgiving, some sweet potatoes, casseroles, iced tea, and rolls. I abstained from the turkey and got so much crap from the rest of my family, "whatever helps you sleep at night."

Oh family.
